Cary Dinner Fairy works with each client to design customized cooking classes that make learning kitchen magic fun and easy!
Chef Jenny is a private cooking instructor, so each lesson is totally tailored to just what you want to learn about. The lessons would take place in your kitchen or cooking space, (she has even had people who want to learn to cook outside!) at times that are convenient to your schedule. Access to a hand-washing sink is required, but other than that, sky’s the limit! Chef Jenny has portable grills, burners, stove tops and ovens to use if needed.
Cooking lessons are $120 a session plus the cost of ingredients, and single students up to 6 of their friends or family can participate for this price. Chef Jenny can design a lesson for you based on the average cooking ability of the student or group.
The reason why the ingredient portion is variable is because some people want only sample sizes of the items cooked, and others want to have full meal portions. Also, some want to learn how to use inexpensive ingredients like eggs, and others want to work with unusual and more expensive items like truffles. Estimated cost of ingredients for single students and smaller groups is anywhere between $20 and $70 depending on what the chosen lesson consists of. Chef Jenny is able to work within your grocery budget to come up with some ideas to choose from.

Included in the session pricing is personalized lesson development, ingredient shopping, food demonstration and preparation, kitchen cleanup and copies of the recipes for each participant.
It is recommended that you reserve your desired lesson date at least two weeks in advance as spaces fill up quickly.
